Babel Fish

From October 29th to the 31st, my school held a hackathon competiton called HackUMBC. My friends and I decided to create a project that incorporated hardware and software. We came to the idea of incorporating one of the gadgets from the hit movie/book/radio play The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, the Babel Fish. The Babel Fish is a device that you stick in your ear and can translate any language into your own. We were very lucky to have won that year's HackUMBC first place. After the success of the first hackathon, I decided to participate in HackUMBC's next hackathon. This time, my group and I decided to create a physical device that acts as not only a password manager, but also a 2FA token. We also very proudly won first place with this project too. Our homeworks consisted of designing each module of the microcontroller, with our last homework consisting of designing the control logic and putting all of the parts together.
